Mile Post 0 – trail start

Address: Maple and Pine, northeast corner of Snohomish city center

· Litter pickup

· Blackberry runners, trim back 2-3 feet

Mile Post 1 - missing

· Replace missing mile post

Crossing - Three Lakes Road and S. Machais Road

· Metal gate bollards, qty = 4, wash

· Wood 8”x 8” bollard, qty = 1, wire brush and paint top white

· Blackberry runners, trim back 2-3 feet

· Horse trail, prune back branches across trail

· Picnic table, just south of bridge, wash table, wire brush metal frame and paint

Pilchuck Trail Head

Address: 6000 S. Machias Road

· Parking Lot, fill chuck holes with gravel

· Fence post and rail, replace post and rail

· Picnic table, just east of parking lot, wash table, wire brush metal frame and paint

· Horse trail, just south of freeway overpass, prune back branches across trail

· Blackberry runners, trim back 2-3 feet

· Picnic tables, under freeway overpass, wash table, wire brush metal frame and paint

Mile Post 2

· Trim back tree limbs on south 2 trees and 1 north tree in-line with 3 middle trees

Rhododendron Trail Head

Cassidy Trailhead -

· No parking at trail head, disabled access

Mile Post 11

· Replace missing mile marker

Crossing – 7906 and Westlund Road

Mile Post 12

Crossing – 84th St. and Westlund Road

· Metal gate bollards, qty = 4, wash

· 100’ N: trim up fallen evergreen on west side and toss into woods

· Further N on E side debris and large tree needing to be bucked up.

· Both sides up to MP 13 sign including horse trail.

Mile Post 13

· Replace MP 13 sign. Broken and leaning against tree on west side of trail.

· SR 9 underpass: remove debris on both sides of trail.

· Debris for 100’ past SR 9 overpass.

Mile Post 14

· Buck up fallen trees and clear away from trail and horse trail.

· Between MP 14 and overpass.

· N. Lauck Rd Overpass: clear storm debris (buck up)

· More light debris further north.

· 2 evergreens blocking horse trail.

· Litter Pick Up and bring flat head shovel for horse excrement on trail.

Mile Post 15

· Replace missing mile post

· 1 bench on west side of trail to be cleaned. (Before hill cut through)

· North of hill cut through: Debris (small cut) across horse trail.

· S Curve: 1 picnic table and 3 benches to be cleaned. Pressure wash concrete area under picnic table. And clean up storm damage under tables.

· North of picnic area: Lots of debris to pick up. (Chainsaw work)

· CT and Hilltop Rd: 4 gates to be washed. (Touch up paint?)

· North of CT and Hilltop: Small debris to pick up.

Mile Post 16

· Reset or replace mile post (Leaning currently and wobbly)

· N. of MP 16: Debris blocking along horse trail. Clear back further.

· South of Centennial trail Quilceda (Wade Road): Storm debris blocking horse trail. Tree on west side needs to be cut back with chainsaw. Widow maker.

· Centennial trail Quilceda: 4 gates to be washed. Wash bridge.

(Parking is gravel and limited)

Mile Post 17

· Wash bridge and trim blackberries on E side of bridge.

Armar Rd. trail head

· Clean benches (tables)

(Larger Paved parking)

We appreciate Karl Gauglitz's coordinating the Good Turn For America effort in the district. Most of know of great efforts that goes unreported.
