Among the most vital of any BSA component is its membership. The BSA can have the greatest programs found anywhere; it can have unlimited financial resources to fund those programs; it can have excellent camps and other facilities; it can have highly trained and exceptionally talented professionals on staff. But, without youth and adult membership, everything else is irrelevant. Membership is the primary ingredient in the well-mixed blend of all the other ingredients in the BSA program of unequalled youth development

The Klahaya District Membership Committee is forming a Hispanic Membership Team. We are looking for a person to head up this group. If you are or you know someone who would be interested please contact Dave Pilkey, District Membership Chair.

CUB SCOUTS -- for boys in the 1^st through 5^th grade (or 6, 7, 8, 9, & 10 years old).

BOY SCOUTS -- for boys who have completed 5^th grade, or are 11 through 17.

VENTURING -- for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed 8^th grade) through 20 years of age.
